Waterless printing with the KBA 74Karat
Building on our core strengths of data and colour management, we have installed our first KBA digital 74Karat press.
Our ICC-profiled digital proofing workflow has been accurately setup to replicate the colour gamut and characteristics of our 74Karat press, giving us the piece of mind that the colour proof you see will be achievable at the printing stage. With this type of proofing workflow, we are continually working towards a true WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) design, proofing, and final print workflow.
The 74Karat is a waterless press, which helps to improve registration (the accuracy of fit of one colour separation to another), and print quality. In addition, it also allows us to print onto a multitude of substrates, including papers, folding box boards, foil boards, and plastics.
